In American films I always see jokes about people getting sent to anger management courses, is that true? Is it any use except to meet more angry people?

Yes, it’s true. This guy i work with had to go.The class was once a week for 52 weeks. The use is that you have to pay 30 or 40 dollars a week to go( forgot how much he said). Anyway, the state makes ALOT of money off those classes, so the police will try their best to arrest in domestic violence calls.
