We all want our favorites to win it all … realistically I just want my teams to be competitive.

The Atlanta Braves being a case in point.

All those years winning division titles and only one ring to show for it.

I’m not unhappy … I have no right to be. The Braves organization put together and kept intact great teams that brought the city of Atlanta a lot of happy times … I can’t cry about them not winning the big one every year. The fact is the teams were always in the running and no one can ask for any more.

You’ll be ok … and remember to enjoy the thought of "Wait till next year!"

    That’s the fun part. (smiling)

If you eat out of a super bowl it’s no wonder you’re depressed. You need to eat only what can fit in a more reasonably sized bowl and then it’s much easier to control your overeating habits. Welcome to happy town captain!

It’ll all be fine. Remember, you’re going to go 19-0 as a QB with the Lions next year. :P

But seriously, you guys have at least been there. That’s more than I can say for my team. It was a great game for most of it. Colts still had a great season. I felt this way right after the Wings lost the Cup this past summer. Still hurts terribly. But not as bad as it did once upon a time.

Even worse was the 2006 World Series. The only time I remember crying between when I was 4 and now. But at that time it felt like my heart had been ripped out. It still hurts to talk about it, but every time I think about what could have been, I watch highlights of the ’84 Tigers (arguably the best baseball team of all time).

And remember, there are 30 other teams who would kill to be in your position.

Take big deep breath and let your mind think of happy things :)
maybe you should get involved in sports so you can be proud of YOURSELF and not count on other people to win ;D

All I can do is tell you about my experience. It was 1998, the Packers were going to come in and annihilate the Broncos. The Packers lost, I cried, no one was allowed to say John Elway in my presense. Back then it was,"Well, YAY Elway got his ring" <<< what??!!!!
I still hold a grudge, but it’s been 12 years and I’m mostly over it.

    Friggin Elway!!!! How could YOU!!!!!

The Colts are awesome, they will be back KONJ! But I completely understand.

Edit: That bye for now better mean just a couple days. Please don’t leave?????

I know how you feel man, when Texas lost the NCG I felt that way. Then the Packers went on to lose in the Wildcard the next week and I was pretty upset. You’ll bounce back though, don’t forget you had UNC last year and the Colts have already won one. The Bulls will get back in it I think to, maybe not this year but the next. Red Sox are still looking good as well, not over just yet.
