I understand having disappointments can make us feel very overwhelmed and sad.
I often ask Jesus to help me during my difficult time. Sometimes God doesn’t give us things, because we are not ready to have it.
Jesus, is the one person who suffered on that cross for us.
If your not a Christian, sorry don’t take it the wrong way. I just find my religion help-full for me.
I did try mental therapy for my problems I felt inside, but one day I was listening to Joyce Meyers on television. She made me feel that God was the one who helped me.
You sound like my brother and sister in law recently. She actually went on a tranquilizer for a few months to help her sleep. This is normal. You have stress in your life. I suggest either see your doctor for temporary medication or learn how to pamper yourself for 30 minutes a day. Just focus on yourself for 30 minutes. Like when your son is napping or after he goes to bed. Drink calming tea, take a warm bath with candles, soak your feet and do a pedicure, etc. Good luck!
You can’t. Depression is an illness, its not something you can overcome with a smile and deep breath. You need help and you need it now. The longer you wait, the harder it will be. Go to your Doctor’s and get a referral to a psychologist. Initially it can be awkward and uncomfortable, but it will help- I promise. He/She might offer you medication or decide to take a different route. Depression isn’t like a cold, it won’t just go away with some Tamiflu. You need help, for you and your baby. Sorry to be so harsh, but I just want to help.
If you are seriously thinking about suicide you need to go get professional help NOW! This is serious. There may come a time when you get so low that thinking of your son may not be enough to stop you. There are plenty of people out there with children who did commit suicide! Get help now while you can.
